NOV 1 – NOV 5, 2022
AMP is the leading organization in the field of molecular diagnostics, and our annual meeting is widely considered the “premier gathering” of molecular professionals. As always, we will explore how cutting-edge technology and developments in molecular testing and diagnostics continue to have a major impact on patient care.
Analysis of the methylation state of cancer samples is a powerful tool for research and clinical applications. Ensuring high-quality high-yield DNA extraction from minimal FFPE samples is essential to optimize clinical testing. Here we describe best practices for extraction of DNA from FFPE to support downstream applications including methylation arrays and sequencing. A case study comparing extraction methods for methylation array profiling will be presented.
